National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Testing Window

The NAEP assessments in reading, math, science, and other content areas are administered in even-numbered years. In odd- numbered years, the National Center of Education Statistics (NCES) asks states to administer international assessments to gather information on how students in the United States compare to students in other countries. The chart below shows those international assessment assessments, studies, and NAEP assessments that will be administered during this school year.

Not all schools will be selected to participate in every test. More information will be available at the beginning of the school year. More information on NAEP can be found at www.ride.ri.gov/naep or https://nces.ed.gov.
