2023-2024 Curriculum Survey Report & Visualization Tool The 2023-2024 Rhode Island Curriculum Survey Report lists the K-12 ELA and Mathematics curricula currently used in each Locale Education Agency (LEA) and designates their quality as either red, yellow, green, not yet rated, or locally developed. This list is a companion document to the Curriculum Visualization Tool. The Curriculum Visualization Tool provides an interactive view of curricula used across Rhode Island. Users can use the tool to view curriculum selections for 2023-2024 by LEA and school for both Mathematics and ELA (use tabs at top to change view). The Tool displays reported data for grades K-8 from 2018-19 and grades 9-12 from 2020-21 to the current year. The dropdown allows you to view each year’s data. Note: The Tool displays best on a full-sized screen or in 'landscape mode' on mobile phones. Educators and district leaders are encouraged to contact LEAs who use the same curriculum to collaborate on professional learning and cross-district communities of practice. When selecting a new curriculum to adopt, leaders can seek feedback from districts that have implemented the materials. Highlights from the data collection include: Elementary 98% of LEAs have adopted High Quality Curriculum for ELA 100% of LEAs have adopted High Quality Curriculum for Math Middle School 96% of LEAs have adopted High Quality Curriculum for ELA 98% of LEAs have adopted High Quality Curriculum for Math High School 96% of LEAs have adopted High Quality Curriculum for ELA 100% of LEAs have adopted High Quality Curriculum for Math Elementary 99.8% of students have access to High Quality Curriculum in ELA 100% of students have access to High Quality Curriculum in Math Middle School 98.0% of students have access to High Quality Curriculum in ELA 98.2% of students have access to High Quality Curriculum in Math High School 99.6% of students have access to High Quality Curriculum in ELA 100% of students have access to High Quality Curriculum in Math We celebrate the progress that has been made and look forward to the work ahead in ensuring that all students in Rhode Island have access to high-quality instructional materials.
