Students in high school for the 2023-24 school year (rising 9th-12th): every semester has a limited number of credit-bearing enrollments. These include dual enrollment, AP, work-based learning and career credential courses. Limits are listed below. Summer: 1 credit-bearing course Fall: 2 courses total (both can be credit-bearing) Spring: 2 courses total (both can be credit-bearing) Yearlong: count as 1 course for fall and 1 course for spring Please note that the EnrollRI system will not alert you to overlapping dates or conflicting meeting times for courses. For this reason, it is the student and/or family’s responsibility to ensure there are no scheduling conflicts in course seat selections. Last, all course specific information will come from the course provider upon enrollment. MANY providers have additional paperwork they require in order to attend, and all dual enrollment courses require registration at the institution. You can see additional details on the course description by clicking on the “info” link for the course or by contacting the provider directly. Please note: The ACN program is funded by a federal grant (the Rethink grant), and all open enrollment pre-registrations (i.e., any pre-registrations after the lottery) are subject to RIDE’s approval, consistent with the terms of the grant. The ACN program makes a proportional number of seats available for homeschool, non-public school (private, parochial, etc.) and public school students based on the ratio of non-public to public school students in Rhode Island. At any point in the registration process, non-public and homeschool students may reach the maximum capacity in the ACN program for the current school year. 2024-2025 All Course Network (ACN) Request for Proposal releases on January 16, 2024 RIDE is pleased to announce that the 2024-2025 All Course Network’s Request for Proposal (RFP) application window will open Tuesday, January 16, 2024 and will remain open through February 16, 2024. Rhode Island public schools have the opportunity to expand coursework available to their Elementary, middle, and high school students through the All Course Network (ACN). Enriching experiences with supplemental coursework help students get a head start on postsecondary success, master the skills required of a lifelong learner, and be prepared for jobs in sectors critical to Rhode Island’s future prosperity. The All Course Network is designed to help districts and schools meet this need by creating opportunities for Rhode Island students to envision, pursue and realize their individualized graduation pathway outside of the traditional school day. RIDE received a federal grant (RethinkRI) and has significantly expanded seats available on All Course Network beginning in January of 2021 and ending in Summer 2024. This expansion means that enrichment courses are available (please see the image below to see course types offered on the ACN) for students in PK-12th grade throughout the school year.
