Learning Dispositions

The Council of Chief State School Officers and Convergence define these dispositions as:

Knowledge	Skills	Dispositions
The theoretical or practical understanding of someone or something.	The capacities and strategies that enable learners to apply knowledge to novel situations, engage in higher order thinking, problem solve, collaborate, communicate effectively, and plan for the future.	The behaviors and ways of being that contribute to learners fulfilling their full potential.

Blended Learning is..

a formal education program in which a student learns at least in part through online delivery of content and instruction with some element of student control over time, place, path, and/or pace

and
at least in part at a supervised brick-and-mortar location away from home

and
the modalities along each student's learning path within a course or subject are connected to provide an integrated learning experience

The SAMR Model

The four stages of the SAMR model are as follows:

Substitution: Tech acts as a direct tool substitute, with no functional change.
Augmentation: Tech acts as a direct tool substitute, with functional improvement.
Modification: Tech allows for significant task redesign.
Redefinition: Tech allows for the creation of new tasks, previously inconceivable.

The first two stages, Substitution and Augmentation, are grouped together as Enhancements to learning. The final two stages, Modification and Redefinition, are grouped together as Transformation of learning.
