RhodyReady

RIDE’s Customizable College and Career Readiness Messaging Campaign

Create your own messaging system to help students plan for the future. College and career readiness requires awareness, planning, and action. These campaign messages will help your students stay on track with their postsecondary plans.

What is RhodyReady?

The “RhodyReady” Chatbot was launched in spring 2022 with funding from the federal RethinkRI grant. RhodyReady was created to support high school students with their college and career journey by providing resources and timely reminders to align with grade-level ILP goals. RhodyReady keeps students on track with key tasks such as taking the SAT, completing the FAFSA, application reminders, and upcoming college fairs.

With the end of the RethinkRI grant funding in 2024, RIDE is now offering a library of RhodyReady messages to counselors state-wide so that schools can customize and disseminate their own "RhodyReady" campaign messages at the local level.

The Rhode Island Department of Education is making the RhodyReady Messaging Campaigns available to all schools and counselors for customization. Rhody Ready  messages will be updated each month and reminders will be posted in the RIDE School Counseling Newsletter.
