School & Family Partnership School and family partnerships are collaborative relationships and activities involving school staff, parents and other family members of students at a school. Effective partnerships are based on mutual trust and respect, and shared responsibility for the education of the students. Families dramatically influence the degree to which students are engaged in school as learners. A strong family-school partnership improves both academic and behavioral outcomes for students.
