Award-Winning Schools
The Rhode Island Department of Education is proud to honor excellent schools.
As part of the Rhode Island's statewide accountability system, RIDE assigns every public school a Star Rating. Schools that perform well across all measures are able to earn a 5 Star Rating, the highest designation. In addition, RIDE participates in the federal Blue Ribbon and Green Ribbon programs.
Five Star Schools
In Rhode Island's statewide accountability system, 5 Star Schools are the highest performing schools that represent the strongest patterns of performance across metrics, test at least 95% of their students, and serve all students well.
