Rhode Island Department of Education to Host Statewide Education Job Fair on Saturday, June 7

Published on Thursday, May 29, 2025

PROVIDENCE, RI – Governor Dan McKee, Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green, and the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) announced today that they will be hosting a state-wide job fair on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick. All individuals who are seeking employment in the education field are invited to attend this free job fair.

“Our job fair is an opportunity to bring together job seekers and organizations that are seeking to make a positive difference for Rhode Island students,” said Governor Dan McKee. “We invite prospective employees to attend and learn more about the opportunities available.”

There are currently hundreds of job openings in Rhode Island schools, including openings for teachers, teacher assistants, administrators, bus drivers, athletic trainers, social workers, nurses, cafeteria workers, and facilities management positions.

“Whether you’re interested in a teaching position, a support position, or are looking for credentialing information, join us at RIDE’s job fair to find your next opportunity,” said Education Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green. “If you're interested in preparing children for success in the classroom and beyond, stop by our job fair to learn more.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with nearly 30 school districts that are hiring, with some employers holding on-site interviews.

“Rhode Island students are amazing and a pleasure to work with,” said Milissa O'Neil, a teacher at Oakland Beach Elementary School and Rhode Island’s 2025 Teacher of the Year. “If you are considering a career in education, I can tell you that it is the most rewarding experience. Join us for our job fair to find out how you can make a difference in lives of young people.”

Participating higher education institutions and preparatory programs will share information about pathways into the profession, and RIDE’s certification team will be available to answer certification questions.

RIDE’s upcoming job fair will take place:
