Public Notification - Summer Food Service Program Waiver Request

The Rhode Island Department of Education plans on submitting a waiver request to delay implementation of certain components of the recently published Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) Final Integrity Rule.

If granted, this waiver will allow RIDE to focus on providing enhanced training and technical assistance to Sponsors operating the Summer Food Service Program to ensure program compliance with existing regulation before imposing additional requirements on Sponsors as required under the published rule.
