Proposed Certification Regulations

On April 30, 2025, the Council on Elementary and Secondary Education passed the post-public comment proposed certification regulations. The entire package can be found on the agenda in the 5b enclosure link.

RIDE is currently working through the regulatory process via the Secretary of State's office, which will lead to promulgation. We expect this process to be complete in June. Once these regulations, pursuant to R.I. Gen. Law § 16-60-4, are fully promulgated, they will go into effect, unless otherwise noted in the regulations.
