Next Generation Science Assessment (NGSA)

Updated 1.31.2022

Students in grades 5, 8, and 11 are automatically loaded into the NGSA TIDE system nightly based on student enrollment submitted to RIDE through school and district information systems. Any adjustments to student registration for the RI NGSA must be completed by updating the student enrollment record in eRIDE. School, district, and state users are not able to adjust student registration directly through the NGSA TIDE system. Please note that any updates made through a school/district student information system or in the data transfers sent to eRIDE may take 24-72 hours to be visible in NGSA TIDE. Districts and outplacement schools must work together to make sure outplaced students are correctly reflected in the NGSA TIDE system. Please note: NGSA TIDE and College Board TIDE are two separate systems (logins, student records, etc.), even though use the same kind of interface.

Rhode Island Comprehensive Assessment System (RICAS)
