The Office of Instruction, Assessment, and Curriculum is pleased to announce that it will be accepting applications for the Mathematics Science Partnership grant, 

Enhancing Content Knowledge and Pedagogical Skills of K-5 Educators in the Next Generation Science Standards

. The terms of the grant require the establishment of a partnership between an LEA(s) and an Institute for Higher Education (IHE) with the intent of designing a professional development experience for science educators in K—5. The application period begins on September 30, 2016 and ends at 4:00 pm on November 4, 2016.

NEW!!  Integrating Practices Online Science and Math Modules

New online modules on integrating the Standards for Mathematical Practices and on the Next Generation Science Standards along with a Leadership Module and additional resources are currently available to all Rhode Island educators through RIDEmap. To access the modules, please log into RIDEmap and select the link to the Integrating Practices Online Modules on the right side of the page.  If you do not have access to RIDEmap, please contact your district or enter a helpdesk ticket.
