2021-2022 Curriculum List & Visualization Tool

Thank you to the local education agencies (LEAs) across the state that completed the curriculum verification survey in Fall, 2021. Your efforts in adopting and implementing High-Quality Curriculum Materials will help us to ensure that all students have access to the materials that support their learning.

The 2021-22 Rhode Island Curriculum List displays which K-12 curricula are being used in each LEA and designates their quality as either red, yellow, green, not yet rated, or locally developed. This list is a companion document to the Curriculum Visualization Tool embedded on this page (scroll down). The Curriculum Visualization Tool provides an interactive view of curricula used across Rhode Island. Users can use the tool to view curriculum selections for 2021-2022 by LEA and School for both Mathematics and ELA (see tabs for various views across the top). The Tool displays curriculum data from 2018-19 (K-8), 2019-20 (K-8), 2020-21 (K-12), and 2021-2022 (K-12), by selection from the dropdown.

Tip:  The Tool displays best on a full-sized screen or in 'landscape mode' on mobile phones.

Educators and district leaders are encouraged to reach out to LEAs who use the same curriculum to collaborate on professional learning and cross-district communities of practice. When choosing a curriculum to adopt, leaders could reach out to get feedback from districts where materials have already been adopted.
