Office of Multiple Pathways

Office of Multiple Pathways
Welcome to the Office of Multiple Pathways. The office includes the teams for Adult Education, Career and Technical Education, and Secondary Education.  The teams are working collaboratively to develop a state wide Multiple Pathways system.  Learners will have increased opportunities to engage in rigorous academic and career preparation to meet the demands of high skilled and high wage jobs in Rhode Island.  This work will integrate with and support the work of higher education and the Career Taskforce Committee in their efforts to develop pathways that ensure both academic and career readiness and success.

The Office of Multiple Pathways will continue to support the reform efforts of each team as the reorganization and consolidation takes place.  The teams will make available resources and activities  on this site.   Career and Technical Education and the Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act and Adult Education are major components of Multiple Pathways but many of the resources may still be found in the office or webpage for Adult Education.  Resources will be transitioned to this site.
