Statewide Student Transportation System
Welcome to
the statewide student transportation system for students attending schools
outside their district. These include catholic, private and charter schools,
career & technical centers and schools for students with disabilities.
If you have any questions regarding eligibility for transportation to one
of these schools, please refer to the tab on the left or feel free to contact
TransPar, the system manager, at 401-222-5024. For instructions on how to

Transportation Request
THE ONLINE STUDENT REGISTRATION SYSTEM IS NOW
OPEN FOR 2012/2013 SCHOOL YEAR TRANSPORTATION REQUESTS.
To request transportation for the 2012-2013 school year
please register using the online student registration form via the "Request
Transportation" side bar link.
General transportation deadlines/information:
Transportation
requests for the Fall of each new school year must be received by July
31st and will be confirmed via a letter
with your child's bus stop information. These letters will be mailed
approximately 10 days prior to the beginning of each school year.
Transportation request forms submitted on or after August 1st
of each year will receive a depot stop location for a temporary bus stop. Parents/Guardians will be notified of their temporary stop time and location by
phone before the first day of school.
For students who receive a temporary stop assignment,
permanent bus stop information will be provided by phone beginning the week of September 17,
2012.
Transportation for the current school year (2011-2012):
Transportation requests for the 2011-2012 school year should be phoned to the
System Manager’s office at 401-222-5024. Parents/Guardians will receive a phone call and a letter, if requested,
with their student's bus stop assignment and pick up and drop off times.

- Pre K students are not eligible for transportation.
Students with Disabilities
Transportation requests for students with disabilities are submitted by the
resident district Special Education Administrator.
