is the Rhode Island Department of Education's website about everything related to data.
RIDE believes that the use of information improves the quality of education provided to students.
DataWorks! will help schools and districts look at the
whole data picture.

InfoWorks!
This site is designed to
engage parents, first and foremost. Here all Rhode
Islanders have easy access to information about schools,
districts, and the state as a whole. This interactive site
includes information about test scores, school classifications,
attendance and demographics.

Growth Model Visualization tool.
This site will have different levels of access for
parents, teachers and others and will show student growth on state assessments over time. |

WayToGoRI This college and career portal, sponsored by RIHEAA, provides comprehensive
electronic educational and career pathway information and planning services for Rhode Island citizens.

RI DataHub.
The Hub makes it easy to visualize and analyze complicated data sets
gathered from multiple federal, state and local sources. Individual records are linked behind strong firewalls.
These records are then combined, based on various characteristics
and transferred to the HUB so users can see the larger landscape of children's well-being and
conditions.

FRED (Frequently Requested Education Data).
RIDE posts publicly available data that are requested by schools, districts,
community groups, researchers and policy makers on FRED. There are many files, so to find what you need,
it's best to use the FRED Search tool. |

School & District Report Cards.
This site is where RIDE posts annual report cards on all
public schools, on all school districts, and on the state
itself. This site includes links to Measured Progress, the
company that produces reports for the
New England Common
Assessment Program (NECAP). |

Graduation Rates.
This page shows has state, district and schools graduation rates
for the past several years. |
|

Instructional Management System (IMS).
This platform combines curriculum,
assessment, instructional practice tools, and student data for
educators and administrators. The IMS will make it easier
for educators to manage and share lesson planning, improve their
formative assessment knowledge and skills, and have access to a
guaranteed and viable curriculum. In addition, the IMS
allows educators and other professional staff to create, share,
and manage academic and behavioral intervention plans for
students.

Educator Performance and Support System (EPSS).
This platform is being developed for
teachers and administrators to help manage all aspects of the RI Educator Evaluation process. |

SurveyWorks! This is a set of annual
surveys of students, teachers, administrator and parents about schools.
It covers teaching practices, school safety and climate, social and risk behaviors,
funding and resources, and family involvement. |

This application shows annual
enrollment, dropout and graduation data for schools, districts
and the state. |

Daily Attendance Data.
This calendar contains attendance reports compiled from data schools and districts in Rhode Island have
submitted to RIDE. |

Basic Education Program (BEP).
These regulations are designed to ensure that high quality
education is available to all Rhode Island public school
students regardless of where they reside or which school they
attend. RIDE is developing performance measures for indicators
of district capacity for all aspects of the BEP. |

SLDS Connect.
This is a statewide effort to
connect our education systems from pre-kindergarten through
higher education and into the workplace. By doing, parents,
teachers, leaders, communities and policy leaders can work
together to improve outcomes for all Rhode Island Students. |

Data Warehouse.
RIDE is redesigning its data warehouse to bring together data from a variety of different sources. The new warehouse will provide clear, timely, accurate data via
various platforms to specific end-users. Parents, teachers, administrators, policymakers and researchers will then be able to make informed decisions about instruction, educational programs, and policies.

This page is designed to provide relevant information on
improving data quality in Rhode Island for stakeholders at the
district, school and classroom levels. Included are general data
quality frameworks and some key national resources on data
quality. |

Data Dictionary.
This tool provides definitions,
layouts and attributes for the various data elements that RIDE
collects, stores and reports. The principle use of this
meta-data repository system is to provide a consistent and
reliable means of access to data. |

collection or report, it includes due dates, a brief
description, the source, who at RIDE is responsible, and links
